Christopher Gibbs achieved a First Class honours degree in illustration at Norwich School of Art, followed by a postgraduate diploma from the University of Brighton.  He lives in High Wycombe, with his dog and an infinitely more obedient Apple Mac.

In 2007 Chris won the AOI, Images 31 Gold Award for his book cover image for Puccini’s Ghosts. He manipulates digital imagery to create multi-layered pictures, using photography and graphic symbols with rich textures and a sophisticated colour palette.

His work has adorned contemporary adult and young fiction covers all over the world including the award-winning Thirteen Treasures YA series (Simon & Schuster) and The Remarkable Adventures of Tom Scatterhorn (OUP).

He has also illustrated Royal Mail packaging for Harry Potter stamps and worked in the editorial field for many specialist magazines.
