Patrick Knowles for Foreign Devils by John Hornor Jacobs (Gollancz)
Patrick Knowles studied illustration at Brighton and letterforms at Central St Martins where he studied the traditional disciplines of letterform design. Patrick has years of experience working as a designer and art director with the UK’s major publishing houses. However, his real passion lies in the realms of typography and illustration. Patrick has developed a wide range of skills and now creates lettering and illustration through various processes including linocut, woodcut, stone carving, painting, cut paper, scraperboard and 3D models and digital 3D modelling.
