“My name is Tom Sanderson and I am a freelance graphic designer specialising in book design. I’ve worked in the publishing industry for many years, being part of the in-house design teamsat Pan Macmillan and Penguin Books, where I became Design Manager on their young adult list. After several years working for some of the industries biggest authors, I decided to take the plunge and set up my own freelance design company the-parish.com.It’s been a busy time and since going out on my own I have worked with many of the UK’s major publishing houses. I have also created work for a number of clients in the USA and Europe. My work has appeared in Graffik magazine, Creative Review and was shortlisted in the ABC Design Awards. I’m passionate about book covers and love the process of generating memorable imagesthat reflect the stories inside.”
